Contract Specialties Group, Ltd. seeks a Director of Proposals to lead the timely and accurate preparation of customer RFQ responses.

You will analyze RFQ requirements, develop a detailed Bill of Materials, estimate assembly hours, and gather pricing from internal data or quotations. In this role you will negotiate with suppliers and customers to finalize pricing, coordinate data across departments, and prepare proposals that meet schedule and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years’ experience in proposals or related roles.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Advanced understanding of manufacturing and ability to interpret engineering data.
• Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare timely and accurate responses to customer RFQs.
• Develop BOM and estimate assembly hours and part costs.
• Obtain pricing information from historical data or quotations.
• Analyze supplier quotes and negotiate pricing as needed.
• Coordinate data from internal departments for pricing and proposals.
• Negotiate with customers to finalize pricing and contracts.
• Support budgets and PAR meetings during contract handoffs.
• Ensure schedules and quality expectations are met for proposals.
• Produce written volumes in response to RFQs and provide management reports.
• Perform other duties to support company performance.
