Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking an experienced Proposal Specialist to lead complex proposals, qualification packages, presentations, and interview materials for our Marketing team.

You will partner with Business Development, technical staff, Operations, and leadership to develop compliant, client‑focused proposals that support McMillen's growth objectives. The role requires strong writing, editing, and project management skills with a collaborative mindset. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field; or 5–7 years of proposal development/marketing/communications experience in the AEC industry.
• Experience managing complex proposals from kickoff through final submission.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of complex proposals and related marketing collateral.
• Coordinate multiple pursuits with schedules and compliance.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings and drive proposal timelines.
• Collaborate with BD, Operations, technical staff, and leadership on messaging.
• Maintain proposal assets in Cosential/Unanet CRM.
• Support interview materials and strategy development.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and tools.
• Ensure brand consistency across layouts and presentations.
