Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the physical aspects of the property meet company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.

The role involves completing work orders, making-ready tasks for vacant units, managing inventory, and maintaining grounds and common areas while following safety and policy guidelines. Occasional travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing and move-ins via pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Manages materials, inventory, and re-orders with the maintenance supervisor.
• Documents and tracks service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts where feasible.
