Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to preserve the physical integrity of the property, including buildings, grounds, and amenities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and overall usability. This role handles resident work orders, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready process for new leases, with attention to safety standards and code requirements.

The position entails coordinating with vendors, tracking inventory, performing routine inspections, and supporting cost-control measures.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications.
• All state/local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance per safety standards and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and supplier coordination.
• Tracks inventory, secures materials, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately to enable proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, assists with cleaning, painting, and basic repairs.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
