Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure that the physical aspects of the property meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose and repair building systems, complete make-ready tasks for new residents, and assist in maintaining grounds and amenities.

This role requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience with maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance processes and safety standards.
• Ability to document service work clearly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building systems per policy and code.
• Complete make-ready inspections and coordinate vendor work.
• Track materials, inventory, and re-order needs with maintenance supervisor.
• Document service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
