Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of the property, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality in line with company standards.

You will handle work orders, make-ready vacant units, manage materials, document requests, maintain grounds, and support cost-control initiatives while following safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs per policies and codes.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Obtain materials from maintenance, track inventory, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintain grounds and amenities, clean and paint as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing instead of replacing when feasible.

Education

EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certification
