Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure building systems, grounds, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and coordinate with vendors to maintain property appearance and functionality.

The role includes completing work orders, preparing units for new tenants, tracking supplies, and supporting cost-control initiatives on site.

Qualifications

• Maintenance skills to diagnose and repair building systems.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
• Certification for EPA refrigerants Type 1/II or Universal preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance per policy.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant units and inspections.
• Manage materials, inventory, and documentation for service requests.
• Assist in grounds, common areas, and amenity upkeep as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
