Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Responsibilities include completing work orders and preventative maintenance, preparing vacants, obtaining supplies, inspecting work, and assisting in grounds upkeep.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal are required.
• State and local certifications as required by jurisdiction.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing via make-ready process and punch-list creation.
• Tracks inventory and coordinates materials with maintenance supervisor.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting tasks as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.

Skills
