Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Senior Property Compliance Analyst in the United States to plan, coordinate, and supervise daily operations, with a focus on Section 42, Section 142, and related HOME program compliance. The role leads staff, develops projects, and strengthens client relationships while increasing team profitability.

Remote or hybrid options may be available; travel 25-35% and evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 to 7 years with direct experience in the administration and monitoring of IRC Section 42, IRC Section 142, 24 CFR Part 92- HOME Investment Partnership Program with a specific focus on 24 CFR Part 5 related to income eligibility.
• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, team spirited, strong relationship building skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete tenant file compliance reviews and reports for designated clients with minimal oversight as directed by the Supervisor or Manager.
• Conduct thorough engagement reviews.
• Accept increasing responsibility for engagement management.
• Recognize potential problem areas during engagements and propose effective solutions.
• Develop, strengthen and maintain effective client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness and service-oriented approach.
• Increase the team’s profitability by managing your time and the time of property compliance analyst efficiently, contributing ideas and adding value.
• Supervise and mentor property compliance analyst.
• Speak and lead trainings, workshops and webinars specific to tenant file compliance with Section 42, Section 8 or other Government Housing Programs.
