Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP seeks a Property Compliance Analyst to perform tenant file compliance reviews and interpret income eligibility under Section 42. You will research regulations, identify risk areas, and ensure timely, accurate engagements.

_positions available across multiple US locations with potential hybrid or remote arrangements; travel up to 35% may be required. Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3 years of Section 42 experience with 24 CFR Part 5 focus.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; COS, HCCP certifications strongly preferred; willingness to obtain within 1 year.
• Understanding of HOTMA and tenant file compliance rules and regulations.
• Ability to identify inconsistencies, ask questions, and seek resolutions proactively.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
• Travel domestically 25–35% and availability for evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre- and post-occupancy tenant file compliance reviews for designated clients.
• Identify potential problem areas during engagements and recommend actions.
• Conduct research related to federal/state compliance regulations and apply findings.
• Work in a deadline-driven environment to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Develop professional client relationships through professionalism and follow-through.
