Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Property Compliance Analyst to perform tenant file reviews for Section 42 compliance with a focus on income eligibility under 24 CFR Part 5. The role supports multiple office locations with potential remote or hybrid arrangements depending on business needs.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of Section 42 experience, a bachelor’s degree (COS/HCCP preferred), and strong Excel/reporting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of Section 42 experience focusing on 24 CFR Part 5 income eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; certifications (COS, HCCP) preferred.
• Ability to understand HOTMA and related compliance rules.
• Proactive problem identification and resolution on engagements.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre- and post-occupancy tenant file compliance reviews and reports.
• Identify potential problem areas and communicate recommended actions.
• Research federal and state compliance regulations and apply findings.
• Meet productivity and accuracy benchmarks in a deadline-driven environment.
• Develop client relationships with professionalism and follow-through.
• Travel domestically 25–35% as workload requires.
