Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale transmission, substation, distribution, and related initiatives. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget across cross-functional teams, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.

The role includes interfacing with executives, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 4–7 years PM experience, or HS diploma and 6–9 years PM experience
• CAPM certification or achieve CAPM within two years of entry; PMP fulfills requirement
• Proven success at managing projects and ability to lead teams
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile

Responsibilities

• Oversight of project performance for large transmission/substation/gas projects (25%).
• Manage costs, schedule, and scope; develop recovery plans (20%).
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align project requirements (15%).
• Communicate with sponsor and executives on project issues (10%).
• Foster good relationships between project team and management (10%).
• Coach and lead team members to complete tasks (10%).
• Identify and obtain project team resources (5%).
• Clarify responsibilities across the team (5%).
