Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to oversee cross-functional projects in transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety, leading or supporting teams through business cases, capital approvals, planning and closeout.

Role may require extended hours during storms or energy emergencies. The successful candidate will drive performance, report to management, and coordinate with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 2–4 years PM experience, or a high school diploma with 3–6 years PM experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader with multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership, communications and presentation skills.
• Experience developing and implementing process improvements and efficiencies including technology and performance.
• Strong judgment and time management skills.
• Proficient PC skills including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Passport.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support project and program performance across transmission, substation, distribution, gas, IT, and organizational initiatives.
• Manage costs, schedule, scope, and risks; develop recovery plans to stay within approvals.
• Interface with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate project requirements.
• Build effective working relationships with team members, line managers, and contract service providers.
• Communicate with sponsors and key stakeholders on project issues, including executives.
• Coach and guide project team members on responsibilities and tasks.
• Identify and obtain project team resources with support from management.
