Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead utility construction projects across transmission, substation, distribution and gas sectors. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget and safety, guiding cross-functional teams through capital plans and project closeouts.

Budgets typically range from $250K to $5 million, with potential storms requiring extended hours. You’ll coordinate with sponsors and stakeholders, coach team members, and allocate resources with support from Manager Project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering or related field, with 2–4 years PM experience.
• Alternatively, High School Diploma with 3–6 years PM experience.
• Proven ability to build consensus and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader with competing priorities.
• Strong leadership, communications and presentation skills.
• Experience developing processes and using technology for performance.
• Good time management and judgment.
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support project and program performance for various utility projects.
• Manage costs, schedule, scope and risks with recovery plans.
• Coordinate requirements with external and internal stakeholders.
• Build strong working relationships with team members and contract providers.
• Communicate with sponsors and stakeholders, including executives.
• Coach team members and ensure assigned tasks are completed.
• Identify and obtain project resources with PM Manager support.
