Job summary

Exelon Corporation is seeking a Utility Field Project Construction Manager to lead cross-functional teams across transmission, substation, and distribution projects. You will manage scope, budget, and schedule, and coordinate with stakeholders at multiple operating areas, including during storms or energy emergencies.

The role requires a CAPM or equivalent PM certification, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and a proven ability to guide projects to successful completion while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field with 4-7 years of project management experience, or a High School Diploma with 6-9 years of PM experience
• CAPM certification or plan to obtain CAPM within 2 years of hire
• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects
• Ability to lead teams and work independently under conflicting priorities
• Strong independent judgment and excellent interpersonal and time management skills
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall project performance for transmission, substation, distribution initiatives.
• Manage costs, schedule, and scope; develop recovery plans to stay within limits.
• Coordinate requirements with external and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate with sponsor and executives on project issues.
• Foster good working relationships between project team and line managers.
• Coach team members to complete tasks on time.
• Identify and secure project resources.
• Ensure team members understand responsibilities.
