Job summary

Exelon Corporation seeks an experienced utility field project construction manager to lead transmission, substation, and distribution projects. You will drive scope, schedule, and safety while coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners across multiple operating areas.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or a high school diploma with substantial PM experience, CAPM (or PMP) certification, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field with 4–7 years PM experience, or HS diploma with 6–9 years PM experience.
• CAPM certification or CAPM within two years; PMP certification preferred.
• Proven track record in managing projects with independent judgment and prioritization.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects including major transmission, substation, and distribution work with cross-functional teams.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget and safety performance across programs.
• Lead planning, execution, and closeout of projects and capital initiatives.
• Communicate with sponsors and executives; present updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with line managers and interfacing organizations.
• Coach team members and secure necessary project resources.
• Ensure responsibilities are understood by all team members.
• May require extended hours for storms or energy delivery emergencies.
