Job summary

Exelon in Philadelphia seeks a Project Manager to lead transmission, substation, distribution, and IT projects with cross-functional teams. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety, guiding projects from business case through closeout.

Responsibilities include engaging stakeholders, delivering on time, and mentoring team members. A CAPM or PMP is preferred; bachelor's in engineering or related field plus 4–7 years of experience. Extended hours during storms may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 4-7 years relevant project management or related experience
• CAPM certification or plan to achieve CAPM within two years of entry
• PMP certification will fulfill CAPM requirement
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently with strong judgment
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile

Responsibilities

• Overall project performance for projects including major transmission, substation, distribution, and gas construction, new technology programs, IT and organizational initiatives
• Manage costs, schedule and scope, including recovery plans to stay within approved limits
• Coordinate requirements with external and internal stakeholders
• Primary communicator with sponsor and key stakeholders on project issues
• Foster good working relationships between project team, line managers, and interfacing organizations
• Coach and lead team members to complete tasks
• Identify and obtain project team resources
• Ensure team members understand responsibilities
