Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large, cross-functional initiatives across transmission, substation, distribution, and IT programs. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety while guiding teams through business cases, capital approvals, and project closeouts.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 7–10 years of PM experience (PMP preferred), and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering or related field; 7–10 years PM experience (9–12 years if no degree).
• PMP certification or achieve PMP within two years of job entry.
• Experience managing large, complex projects using PM techniques (planning, control, risk, cost).
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Manages large and/or highly complex and often unique projects ensuring on-time delivery and budget compliance.
• Key interface for external customer work involving transmission and substation projects including presenting costs to customers and negotiating schedules.
• Collaborate with other PMs, work management, and functional managers to assure optimal resource utilization.
• Communicate with project sponsor and stakeholders including executive level presentations.
