Job summary

Ajax Building Company, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a driven Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. In this role, you will partner closely with field leadership, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and engineers, while actively managing project

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• General Contractor License preferred.
• Strong understanding of industry practices and trends and their impact on the corporation.
• Advanced interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, develop, and manage project personnel and resources.
• Lead overall project execution, coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to meet safety, schedule, and budget goals.
• Establish and implement project operating procedures for consistency and efficiency.
• Oversee budgets and schedules, manage cost, risk, and quality across the project lifecycle.
• Review performance reports and keep leadership informed of status and risks.
• Manage procurement, approvals, and vendor/subcontractor costs.
• Serve as primary company representative in communications with owners, architects, and engineers.
• Oversee contract administration and warranty activities.
