Job summary

Ajax Building Company, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will partner closely with field leadership, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant construction project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• General Contractor License preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, develop, and manage project personnel according to policy and project needs.
• Lead overall project execution, coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Establish and implement project operating procedures for consistency and efficiency.
• Oversee budgets and schedules, with proactive risk management.
• Review performance reports to manage cost, schedule, quality, and safety.
• Manage procurement and approve material purchases and equipment rentals.
• Serve as primary representative in communications with owners, architects, engineers.
• Oversee contract administration and costs for equipment and subcontractors.
• Audit project activities from contract execution through closeout and warranty.
• Build strong relationships with teams, clients, subcontractors, and partners.
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement through initiatives.
