Job summary

Ajax Building Company, a member of the STO Building Group, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction programs from preconstruction through closeout. You will partner with field leadership, subcontractors and stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget, while serving as the main contact for owners, architects and engineers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• General Contractor License preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead and develop project personnel.
• Lead overall project execution with field teams, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Establish project operating procedures for consistency and efficiency.
• Oversee budgets and schedules with proactive risk management.
• Review project performance reports and manage cost, schedule and quality.
• Manage procurement and approve material purchases and tools.
• Serve as the primary company representative in communications and negotiations with owners, architects, engineers and stakeholders.
• Oversee contract administration, including approvals and costs.
• Audit project activities from contract execution through closeout.
• Build and maintain relationships with project teams and clients.
• Promote safety and continuous improvement via the Quality Improvement Plan.
