Job summary

Ajax Building Company, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a driven Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. In this role, you will partner closely with field leadership, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and engineers, while actively managing project

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant construction project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• General Contractor License preferred.
• Strong understanding of industry practices and trends and their impact on the corporation.
• Advanced interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, develop, and manage project personnel.
• Lead overall project execution, coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Establish and implement project operating procedures to drive consistency and efficiency.
• Oversee development and management of project budgets and schedules.
• Review project performance reports to manage cost, schedule, quality, and safety.
• Manage procurement and approve material purchases and equipment rentals.
• Serve as primary company representative in communications with owners, architects, engineers.
• Oversee contract administration and costs for equipment and subcontractor scope.
• Audit and monitor all project activities from contract execution through closeout.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project teams, clients, and partners.
