Job summary

Ajax Building Company, part of the STO Building Group, seeks a driven Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will partner with field leadership, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and engineers while actively managing project performance, cost, and risk to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant construction project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• General Contractor License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, develop, and manage project personnel and responsibilities.
• Lead overall project execution with field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Establish and implement project operating procedures for consistency and efficiency.
• Oversee budgets and schedules, manage risk, and ensure safety and quality.
• Review performance reports and manage cost, schedule, quality, and safety.
• Manage procurement and approve material purchases and equipment rentals.
• Serve as primary company representative in communications with owners, architects, engineers.
• Oversee contract administration and approve agreements and costs.
• Audit activities from contract execution through closeout and warranty.
• Build relationships with teams, clients, subcontractors, and partners.
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
