Job summary

Lumicera Health Services seeks a Sr. Project Manager, EPMO to lead large, cross-functional initiatives in a healthcare setting. You will own complex projects, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and drive governance through the EPMO. Collaboration with leadership and SMEs is essential to deliver value.

You will mentor others, apply PM methodologies, and ensure rigorous testing and stakeholder communication. A degree and PM certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare-related experience required.
• Certification in project methodology or Agile certification preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in enterprise projects from initiation to implementation that include IT and data elements if project management certified or 7 years if not project management certified required.
• Waterfall and Agile methodologies required.
• Core software applications, including Teams, Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint required.
• Project tracking tools (MS Project, ADO, PPM Pro, Smartsheets) required.
• 3 years healthcare or pharmacy benefits industry practices and HIPAA knowledge required.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple complex projects with resource interdependencies concurrently and act as the project owner in all phases.
• Document and manage activities, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, and risk mitigation plans.
• Prepare project schedules with major milestones for oversight and control.
• Establish and maintain budgets; forecast and report spend with approvals.
• Document key decisions and communicate impact across the enterprise portfolio.
• Conduct project communications and provide updates to teams, stakeholders, and sponsors.
• Collaborate with SMEs to design solutions and ensure proper testing and delivery.
• Regularly review strategy and project effectiveness and drive improvements.
• Mentor project managers in PM methodologies and best practices.
