Job summary

Delmarva Power & Light Co., part of Exelon, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams across transmission, substation, distribution, gas and IT projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget and safety from business case through closeout, with project budgets typically ranging from $250K to $15 million.

Coordinate with sponsors and stakeholders, drive plans, monitor performance, and mentor team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 4–7 years PM experience or 6–9 years non-construction PM.
• CAPM certification or achieve CAPM within two years of entry (PMP will fulfill).
• Demonstrated success at managing projects.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader with competing priorities.
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project performance for transmission, substation, distribution, gas, IT initiatives and other programs.
• Manage costs, schedule, and scope; develop recovery plans as needed.
• Interface with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate requirements.
• Serve as primary communicator with sponsor and key stakeholders at executive levels.
• Foster good working relationships among project team, line managers and interfacing organizations.
• Coach and lead team members to complete tasks; allocate resources as needed.
