Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead transmission, substation, distribution, and gas initiatives across multiple disciplines. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety, guiding teams through business cases and capital approvals with budgets from $250K to $15M.

The role requires strong leadership, CAPM/PMP readiness, and proven ability to coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and regulators. Eligible candidates will have a engineering or related degree and PMP/CAPM certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or relevant alternative education with experience.
• CAPM certification or ability to obtain CAPM within two years; PMP fulfills.
• Demonstrated success at managing projects with ownership of outcomes.
• Ability to work independently and lead teams in a multitask environment.
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project performance for transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT initiatives.
• Manage costs, schedule, and scope; develop recovery plans to stay within limits.
• Interface with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate requirements.
• Communicate with sponsors and stakeholders at executive level.
