Job summary

Delmarva Power & Light Co. in Illinois is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects across transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and driving project plans from conception to closeout. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 2-4 years PM experience (or 3-6 with high school).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 2-4 years PM experience, or high school diploma and 3-6 years PM experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field with 2-4 years PM experience, or high school diploma with 3-6 years PM experience.
• Ability to build consensus, communicate effectively and foster culture change.
• Work independently and as a team leader with multiple priorities.
• Proven leadership, communications and presentation skills.
• Develop and implement process improvements and performance metrics.
• Time management and strong judgment; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support overall project and program performance across multiple disciplines.
• Manage costs, schedule, scope and risks with recovery plans.
• Interface with stakeholders to coordinate requirements.
• Build good working relationships with teams and contractors.
• Serve as primary communicator with sponsor and stakeholders on project issues.
• Coach and lead team members to complete tasks.
• Identify and obtain resources with manager support.
