Job summary

Exelon Corporation is seeking a project manager to lead transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT initiatives with cross-functional teams. You will manage scope, schedule, budget and safety, guiding projects from business case through closeout, often with budgets from $250K to $15 million.

The role requires strongPM skills, CAPM/PMP credentials, and the ability to balance priorities while coordinating with executives and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 4–7 years PM experience, or High School Diploma with 6–9 years PM experience.
• CAPM certification or achieve CAPM within two years of entry (PMP certification will fulfill this)
• Demonstrated and documented success at managing projects
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader with conflicting priorities
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile

Responsibilities

• Overall project performance for transmission, substation, distribution, and gas construction, major IT programs, and initiatives (25%).
• Manage costs, schedule and scope; develop recovery plans to stay within approved limits (20%).
• Interface with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate project requirements (15%).
• Communicate with sponsor and key stakeholders at executive level (10%).
• Maintain good working relationships between project team, line managers, and interfacing organizations (10%).
• Coach and lead team members to ensure task completion (10%).
• Identify and obtain project team resources (5%).
• Ensure team understands responsibilities (5%).
