Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager in Philadelphia to lead transmission, substation, distribution, gas and IT initiatives with cross-functional teams. You will manage scope, schedule, budget and safety, guiding projects from business case to closeout, often with budgets from $250K to $15M and extended storm coverage.

The role requires a PM mindset, CAPM certification, and the ability to coordinate with executives and stakeholders while balancing competing priorities and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 4-7 years relevant project management or related experience, OR High School Diploma with 6-9 years of relevant project management or related experience
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or achieve CAPM within two years of job entry
• Demonstrated and documented success at managing projects
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader including the ability to handle conflicting priorities in a multi task environment
• Demonstrated strong independent judgment skills
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and time management skills
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects including major transmission, substation, distribution, and gas construction, information technology and organizational initiatives.
• Ensure costs, schedule and scope are managed with recovery plans when needed.
• Interface with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate requirements.
• Communicate with sponsor and stakeholders, including executive level presentations.
• Maintain good working relationships between project team, line managers and interfacing organizations.
• Coach and lead team members to complete tasks.
• Identify and obtain project team resources.
• Ensure team understands responsibilities
