Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Data Center Construction in Dallas, TX, to lead complex projects from initiation to closeout. You will manage scope, schedule, and fiscal performance while coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and field teams.

In this role, you’ll oversee cost control, procurement coordination, and the development of subcontractor scopes, ensuring safety and quality standards. PE/LEED alignment preferred; data center experience valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Experience on large data center projects preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) and LEED designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Oversee scheduling and coordination of trades and subcontractors.
• Support procurement, scope development, and project controls.
• Review subcontractor billings and assist with client billings and cost tracking.
