Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Project Engineer - Data Center Construction to join our Dallas team. This role supports project management through documentation, procurement, and coordination with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

You will help manage schedules, develop scope, review contracts and drawings, prepare submittals and maintenance manuals, and uphold McKinstry safety standards while collaborating across engineering and facilities teams.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating large data center projects.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, contracts, and specs.
• BA/BS in Construction Management or related field.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support project management through documentation, procurement, and coordination.
• Assist with scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and monthly reporting.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality control on site.
