Job summary

McKinstry is looking for a Project Executive - Data Center Construction to join our Data Center Innovations division in Dallas, TX. This role leads complex sales and project initiatives, manages key client relationships, and ensures projects align with organizational strategy.

Requires 12+ years in construction, 5+ years in a sales leadership role, and experience on large data center projects; DBIA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of construction experience across procurement methods and large projects.
• 5+ years in a sales leadership role with team management.
• Experience on large data center projects is required.
• Proficiency in project controls, financials, risk management, and estimating.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of construction means/methods, codes, and financial programs/software.
• DBIA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position McKinstry’s brand and promote offerings in identified markets and clients.
• Build and manage relationships with industry leaders, associations, and key accounts.
• Develop and manage the sales process from opportunity to transition to operations.
• Lead pursuit strategies for securing projects and perform market analysis.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution with engineering, estimating, and marketing.
