Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks a Principal Specialist of Program Cost Controls (P3) to support the Naval Standard Missile Systems portfolio. You will partner with CAMs and the PMO to oversee cost reports, EAC development, and weekly cost run analysis across contracts.

You will develop forecasts, explain variances, and help drive internal efficiencies while maintaining strong communication with program leadership and finance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience developing, updating, and statusing financial/metric reports
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and 365 tools
• Experience in production or schedule-driven environments with P&L understanding
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Support quarterly EAC development including costs, risks, and opportunities
• Provide cost, schedule, funding planning, reporting, monitoring, and analysis
• Prepare program financial forecasts and explain variances
• Manage cost accumulation weekly, monthly, and quarterly
• Provide cost reduction project support and leadership
• Assist in developing cost estimates for new proposals
• Support factory/program activities in the finance role and participate in decisions
• Develop and streamline reports, EAC management, and special projects
