Job summary

Syniverse Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer to deliver technical solutions for complex issues and optimize production infrastructure. You will install, monitor, and upgrade servers, databases, and external services, and work on capacity planning and performance improvements across the environment.

The role emphasizes analysis, problem management, and collaboration with users to clarify requirements while supporting production systems and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science, electronics or telecommunication or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years relevant professional experience in application support, technical customer support, problem management, relational databases, programming languages, software development.
• Certification on operating systems and databases (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide escalated technical support for complex issues, including leading problem management cases.
• Analyze requirements and prioritise requests; communicate with users to clarify needs.
• Install, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize production server hardware and software.
• Create, track and report capacity and performance metrics; conduct benchmarks.
• Perform UAT in production and research errors; prioritize production issues based on logs.
