Job summary

Dow currently seeks a Senior Production Engineer to optimize plant operations in Knoxville, TN. You will coordinate with supply chain, plan production, and drive safe, cost-efficient manufacturing while applying advanced technical knowledge and process automation tools.

You will lead troubleshooting, monitor KPI trends, and mentor plant personnel to achieve performance goals, with a focus on safety and permit compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• United States work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Translate business production goals into plant production goals.
• Coordinate with Integrated Supply Chain for production planning, shipping, and raw materials.
• Determine shutdown timing with Supply Chain, Turnaround, Operations, and Maintenance.
• Coach plant personnel on KPI trends and performance records.
• Collaborate with operations teams and SMEs to optimize plant performance.
• Apply MET concepts and process automation to improve operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plant issues to sustain safe, efficient production.
• Lead root-cause analyses for asset utilization losses and document findings.
• Maintain daily KPI reviews and respond to emergencies and on-call rotations.
