Job summary

Dow Inc. in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to optimize plant operations, resolve issues, and enable safe, cost-effective production of quality products.

The role interfaces between plant and supply chain to meet business goals through education and experience. Responsibilities include coordinating with Supply Chain, asset optimization, MET deployment, and leading corrective actions during unplanned events, while maintaining safety and compliance with permits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required (Chemical or Mechanical preferred).
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Translate business production needs into plant production goals.
• Coordinate production planning, shipping, and materials with Integrated Supply Chain.
• Determine shutdown timing with Supply Chain, Turnaround, and Operations.
• Coach plant personnel on KPI tracking and performance records.
• Lead with MET and process automation to optimize performance.
• Diagnose root causes of asset losses and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain daily KPI trends and respond to plant emergencies.
