Dow Inc. in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to optimize plant operations, resolve production issues, and enable safe, cost-efficient output of high-quality products.

You will coordinate with operations, supply chain, and technology teams to translate business goals into practical production plans. The role requires strong problem solving, data analysis, and leadership in everyday operations, including guarding safety and compliance with operating permits.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Translates business production goals into plant production goals.
• Coordinates with Integrated Supply Chain for production planning and shipping.
• Determines shutdown timing with SCM, Turnaround, Operations, and Maintenance.
• Coaches personnel on performance measurement and daily updates of KPIs.
• Works with operations teams to apply problem-solving and technical expertise.
• Ensures MET understanding and uses process automation to optimize performance.
• Partners with SMEs to perform advanced troubleshooting and improvements.
• Diagnoses root causes of asset utilization losses.
• Maintains daily KPI/trend reviews for optimum performance.
• Responds to plant issues and participates in on-call rotation.
• Acts as unit technical expert during unplanned events.
• Drives optimization in Raw Material Efficiency, yield or waste.
• Ensures compliance with operating permits and site integration.
