Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks a Senior Production Engineer for our Knoxville, TN plant. You will optimize plant operations, resolve issues, and drive safe, low-cost production of quality products by applying engineering theory and practical knowledge across the site and with Supply Chain.

You will coordinate production units, coach teams, utilize MET and process automation, and lead root-cause analysis while ensuring compliance with operating permits and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into plant production goals.
• Coordinate production planning, shipping, and materials with Supply Chain.
• Determine shutdown timing with cross-functional teams.
• Coach staff on performance metrics and daily updates.
• Work with operations and SMEs to diagnose issues.
• Apply MET concepts and automation to optimize performance.
• Lead root-cause analyses of asset utilization losses.
• Maintain daily KPI trends and react to emergencies.
• Provide technical leadership during unplanned events.
• Optimize Raw Material Efficiency and enforce permits.
