Job summary

Dow seeks a Senior Production Engineer in Knoxville, TN to optimize plant operations and drive safe, efficient production of quality products. You will interface with plant and supply chain, applying MET and process automation insights to meet business goals.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in engineering with ≥3 years of experience, and are authorized to work in the U.S. This role includes on-call duties and site leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; chemical or mechanical preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Translates business production goals into plant production goals.
• Coordinates with Integrated Supply Chain for production planning and shipping.
• Determines shutdown timing with Supply Chain, Turnaround, Operations, Maintenance, and service providers.
• Coaches plant personnel on KPI tracking and performance records.
