Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior Production Engineer in Knoxville, TN. You will optimize plant operations, resolve production issues, and enable safe, efficient production of high-quality products that meet cost and schedule targets.

You will act as the interface between the plant and supply chain, coordinating with teams to deliver reliable performance. You will coordinate with Integrated Supply Chain, determine shutdown timing, coach operations staff on KPI trends, and apply MET and process automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; chemical or mechanical preferred.
• 3+ years relevant experience required.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Translate business production needs into plant production goals.
• Coordinate with Integrated Supply Chain for planning and shipping; manage materials.
• Determine shutdown timing with Supply Chain, Turnaround, Operations and maintenance teams.
• Coach plant personnel on metrics and daily performance updates.
• Work with operations to leverage problem-solving skills and SME input.
• Ensure MET understanding and use of process automation to improve performance.
