Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Terms and Payments team to design both term and payment selection experiences at checkout, driving clarity and confidence for millions of users.

You’ll own the cross-functional process with Product, Design, Engineering, Research, and Analytics, across markets, and collaborate with Legal to ensure compliant UX. This role emphasizes experimentation, user insights, and end-to-end execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• Strong sense of taste for user experience and interaction clarity.
• Analytical rigor with data and experimentation.
• World-class execution with high ownership and quality.
• Ability to collaborate across product, design, engineering, analytics, and research.
• Excellent communication and storytelling to align stakeholders.
• Bonus points for experience with checkout, ecommerce, or fintech.

Responsibilities

• Own the core checkout experience where users select and review terms and payments, driving conversion and confidence.
• Design and run experiments to improve user understanding of terms.
• Define and ship new UX patterns using insights, data, and cross-functional collaboration to move from discovery to launch.
• Partner with Legal and Compliance to understand regulatory requirements affecting UX.
• Collaborate with international product partners to adapt terms for new markets while keeping design coherence.
• Develop deep understanding of user behavior and share insights across the team.
• Drive a high-impact roadmap from concept through launch and iteration.
