Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Terms and Payments team to shape the checkout experience. You will own how users select terms and payments, collaborating with design, engineering, research, and analytics to improve clarity and conversion at the moment of commitment.

You should have 5+ years in product management, a strong UX sensibility, analytical rigor, and proven cross‑functional leadership.

Qualifications

5+ years of Product Management experience.
Strong sense of UX—clear, thoughtful interactions.
Analytical rigor: turning data into insights.
World-class execution with high ownership.
Ability to collaborate across product, design, eng, analytics, and research.
Bonus points for checkout, ecommerce, or fintech experience.

Responsibilities

Own the core checkout experience where users select terms and payments, driving conversion and confidence at commitment.
Design and run experiments to improve how users understand and choose terms.
Define and ship new UX patterns using research insights and quantitative signals; collaborate with design and analytics.
Partner with Legal and Compliance on regulatory requirements affecting UX.
Work with international product partners to adapt for markets while keeping a coherent design system.
Develop deep understanding of user behavior and share insights across the team.
Drive an ambitious roadmap from concept through launch and iteration.
