Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Terms and Payments team to design term and payment selection experiences at checkout. You will work across Product, Design, Engineering, Research, and Analytics to deliver clear, trusted experiences for millions of users.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, experimentation, and a deep understanding of user behavior, with remote-first flexibility across the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• Strong sense of taste for user experience and what makes interactions clear and delightful.
• Analytical rigor: interpret experiment results and translate data into insights.
• World‑class execution with high agency and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams across product, design, engineering, analytics, and research.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to drive narratives with stakeholders.
• Coachability: receptive to feedback and able to grow.
• Bonus: checkout, e‑commerce, or fintech experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the core checkout experience where users select terms and payments to drive conversion and confidence.
• Design and run experiments to improve how users understand and choose terms.
• Define and ship new UX patterns, moving from discovery to launch with research and analytics.
• Partner with Legal and Compliance to address regulatory requirements affecting UX.
• Collaborate with international product teams to expand terms experiences across markets.
• Develop deep user behavior insights and share them with the team and stakeholders.
• Drive an ambitious roadmap and own execution from concept through launch and iteration.
