Databricks is seeking a Senior Product Counsel to guide the legal aspects of its engineering and product management teams as global regulations evolve around data privacy, AI, and technology transactions.

This role reports to the Assistant General Counsel, Product, and involves leading product counseling efforts, drafting and negotiating key agreements, and collaborating with privacy, compliance, and commercial teams across Databricks' global operations, including its Bellevue, WA location.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of legal experience at a top law firm and/or in-house.
• Minimum 2 years focused experience in product, privacy, and/or IP law.
• State bar membership required.
• Deep understanding of cloud and software technology.

Responsabilités

• Provide end-to-end product counseling from ideation to end of life.
• Draft and negotiate product and security-related contracts, including DPAs and BAAs.
• Advise on data protection, AI, and cybersecurity risks for product teams.
• Collaborate with privacy, commercial, and compliance teams across the business.
• Develop processes to improve the product counseling function.
