Job summary
Kiewit is seeking a senior Lead Process Engineer to drive development, design integration, and execution of industrial projects across North America. You will lead process selection, develop design packages, and coordinate with multi-discipline teams to deliver safe, cost-effective, constructible solutions.
Ideal candidates have 10+ years in process engineering within renewable fuels, mining, semiconductors, or process industries, with design-build/EPC experience and willingness to travel up to
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years in process development and detailed design in industrial markets.
- 10+ years in increasingly challenging positions.
- 10+ years of engineering design oversight experience.
- 5+ years leading an engineering and design team.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.
- Experience as process design lead on design-build projects preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for industrial facility design and process optimization.
- Develop process design packages and PFDs/P&IDs, and perform hydraulics modeling.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients and partners.
- Mentor junior engineers and support business development.
- Prepare cost estimates and contribute to proposals.
- Represent Kiewit in meetings, hearings, and client engagements.
