Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to advance design and delivery of complex industrial facilities in an EPC/design-build environment. You will drive mechanical system design, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and guide on-site execution to ensure constructible, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of mechanical or process engineering experience.
• Experience with biogas, bulk solids handling, water/wastewater, CDU/CRAH, or related industrial facilities.
• Familiar with design documentation creation and layouts.
• Willing to lead engineering teams and EPC/design-build projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide design, coordination, and oversight of mechanical systems for industrial facilities.
• Manage design calculations and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate mechanical design with multi-disciplinary teams and third-party engineers.
• Review contracts and RFPs and incorporate requirements into design.
• Support construction team on-site and respond to RFIs.
• Develop schedules, staffing, and project scopes.
• Perform early design studies and layout planning.
• Mentor peers on best practices.
