Job summary

Kiewit Engineering Group, Inc is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design electrical systems for large industrial facilities across EPC and Design Build projects in the US. Responsibilities include design, analysis, coordination with partners, and mentoring junior engineers.

You will work on diverse projects from data centers to water/wastewater facilities, with opportunities for leadership and PE licensure and strong career growth within a employee-owned,

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree and EIT license.
• 5+ years of electrical design for industrial facilities.
• Experience with ETAP and SmartPlant.
• PE license preferred or willingness to obtain within a year.
• Experience with FEED, D/B, EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical designs for EPC/Design Build projects.
• Evaluate engineering techniques for large industrial projects.
• Coordinate design efforts with construction partners and perform bid evalu-ations.
• Review electrical requirements for facilities and projects.
• Perform ETAP analyses, system modeling, protection coordination, load flow, and grounding studies.
• Utilize SmartPlant for balance of plant electrical systems design.
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold design standards and guidelines.
• Work independently or in multi-discipline teams and support RFP/FEED/EPC efforts.
