Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering efforts across complex industrial EPC projects. You will guide deliverables from concept to commissioning, ensuring safety, quality and alignment with client goals.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering design for D/B/EPC projects, leadership of engineering teams, and strong communication with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 5+ years of engineering design experience on D/B, Progressive D/B or EPC projects in heavy industrial markets.
• Experience leading industrial projects and managing engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline engineering activities from design through construction administration.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering disciplines, construction teams, and external partners.
• Oversee development, review, and approval of engineering drawings, specs, calculations, and reports.
• Drive early project planning, design development, and constructability reviews to optimize cost and schedule.
• Manage engineering budgets, forecasts, progress tracking, and change management processes.
• Serve as primary technical liaison with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Champion safety, innovation, and continuous improvement in engineering tasks.
• Support proposal development and project pursuit with engineering input.
