Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Senior Process Engineer - ISO to design, develop, and implement processes that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost efficiency across ISO operations. This position requires advanced problem-solving, leadership, and travel as needed, with primary support at one site.

You'll drive process reliability, participate in PHAs/HAZOPs, manage change, support new product introductions, and mentor engineers while aligning with regulatory standards such as OSHA and EPA, ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of engineering or plant manufacturing leadership experience in related manufacturing industries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Statistical Process Control, DOE, TPM, PFMEA and Lean/Six-Sigma manufacturing methodologies.
• Ability to coach, teach and develop a team of engineers.
• Experience with Management of Change (MOC), PHAs and HAZOPs.
• Experience with Regulatory Standard compliance including OSHA and EPA.
• Strong office tool skills, including MS Office suite and statistical analysis tools like Minitab.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in engaging with, participating in, and promoting safety.
• Collaborate with site teams to achieve Quality KPIs, including First Pass Yield targets.
• Investigate quality issues and customer complaints; partner with Quality for corrective actions.
• Drive process reliability, standardization, and variation reduction.
• Lead process trials and raw material qualification for new products.
• Support new product introductions and qualifications.
• Provide process leadership on cost efficiency initiatives, including material usage and AI.
• Identify and support other process-related cost savings opportunities.
• Ensure timely execution of equipment and process projects for new or modified products.
• Maintain robust Process Control Plans and formulation controls to meet product specification and quality.
• Ensure regulatory compliance on all processes; manage change through PHAs/HAZOPs/MOCs.
• Partner with Value Streams across ISO to support collaboration and initiatives.
• Attend technical conferences to stay current on technologies and processes.
• Travel as needed to support ISO business activities.
