Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks engineers to join a multi-disciplinary team focused on hardware integration for Sentinel programs. You will design mechanical and electrical components and support design reviews with cross-functional stakeholders.

This role requires a STEM degree with related experience, active US Secret clearance, and CAD experience using Siemens NX. Relocation assistance may be available and the work schedule is 9/80 with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM with related experience (5y) or Master’s with 3y (Sr. Principal: 8y w/ bachelor; 6y w/ master).
• US Citizenship with active Secret clearance required at start and within scope.
• Design experience CAD modeling using Siemens NX or similar.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of Mechanical, Electrical and Hardware Integration engineers to design hardware systems and components.
• Apply ASME standard processes to identify, design, and procure electrical and mechanical hardware.
• Support design of integrated assemblies to support Sentinel design review campaigns.
• Create design artifacts including 3D models and data packages using CPLM and NX tools.
• Collaborate across Systems, Software, Design, Compliance, and Hardware teams.
